Cozy Winter Must Haves

Hey, loves! Even with spring around the corner, it’s still cold here in St. Louis. XD

While I am currently shopping for the best spring pieces to share with you all, I just wanted to share a few of my favorite winter pieces since there’s still a forecast for ice and snow! These are my cozy winter must- haves.

First of all, I used to be your normal leggings-and-college-sweatshirt girl. However, I figured I would try and branch out a little style-wise. You know how much I LOVE any outfit that’s super comfy? Well I also discovered this season just how much I love vests. I bought this vest at Old Navy and I loved it so much that I just had to have it 4 different colors! No joke. They can dress up a casual workout outfit or they can be a classy addition to a comfy sweater and chunky jewelry combination. I also love how versatile vests are! You can wear them from fall to spring with any number of outfits!

Old college habits die hard and I still find that my go-to bottoms even in the dead of winter are my good old leggings! While I have been known to wear jeans on the occasion, I find that leggings are the most versatile bottoms to wear in the winter.

While I love the classic black ones, I have fallen in love with wool and knit leggings (pictured below)! They add a little texture and character to my outfits without taking away from the cozy comfort that I love! I love to wear these on the days I hit the library to study or write papers for class pair with a long t-shirt and comfy cardigan or with a workout top and winter boots!

Cozy Snow Boots

With the weather going down into the single digits the last few weeks, I’ve found that snow are a must have in my winter wardrobe! I bought these particular BearPaw boots on Black Friday and they have saved my toes countless times this winter.

Plaid Button Down

This wardrobe staple is perfect for both fall and winter! In the fall, I would wear it with a dark green windbreaker, jeans and ankle boots. In the winter, it is perfect under a vest!  This is plaid top, vest, and boots combo is definitely one of my favorites this winter. I’ve actually had a few people comment on this particular outfit as I was strolling through Nordstrom’s the other day!

Hey! If you click on my link under my blue vest and boots outfit, it should take you to a site where you can see what I was wearing. I don’t think I tagged the exact vest (maybe sold out) but I do believe I linked a similar one! If those don’t work for you, I love Old Navy Vests for sure!
