My Word for 2019

Happy New Year, everyone! I have always made New Year’s resolutions over the years but I wanted to do something in addition to this. I wanted to choose one word to live by in 2019.

My word for 2019 is Love.

I have learned that no matter what happens in life, you have to have love present in everything you do!

Love where you are at in your life at this very moment because you will never be at this point in your life again.

How fortunate I am to be approaching my 26th year on this Earth. I have graduated from college and currently working on a master’s degree. I have moved into my first apartment with the love of my life and our dog. I am touching the lives of both my coworkers and patients just as they are touching mine. Life is good right now and i want to appreciate all that I’ve done and will do.

Love and trust the time you have to do things you love.

In 2018, I discovered my love of blogging. I have learned about the triumphs and downfalls that come with it and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming along. I also enjoy the time I spend in graduate school and all the things I’m learning about being a nurse practitioner.

Love and cherish the time you spend with friends and loved ones.

Whether it’s a formal get together or a late night heart-to-heart, take the time to really connect with those around you.

Love your significant other as deeply as you can.

Cherish the good times and be patient during the bad times. Your love is as unique as the two of you and it should never be compared to the love of other couples.

And most importantly, I am learning to love the person I am today enough to become a better person tomorrow. So this is what I hope you to take away from this:Challenge yourself. Push yourself to grow as much as you can. Love yourself and the opportunities you can have. If you do all things in love, then you really and truly be the best person you can be.
